On the 29th of May, we celebrated the opening of the New World Campus. The official inauguration was held by The Hague city council member Ingrid van Engelshoven, who showed her enthusiasm on the innovative sustainable approach of the NWC.
The NWC is located in a beautiful historic building in The Hague, The Netherlands. It accomodates professionals, among which Waterwatch Cooperative, who aim to solve global problems in the field of international sustainable development.
The opening was visited by over 400 interested people who wanted to see what the NWC has to offer as well as get to know the parties that are situated there. Waterwatch Cooperative played a special role this day, as we were invited to give a presentation on how we use technology to improve food security. The audience was very interested; we received many questions and new ideas.
